Seiko SBBN015 Tuna , MM300 Quartz .

Seiko Tuna SBBN015 MM300 Quartz , how many members here own one ?

Whats your thoughts on them ?

This model Tuna Seiko looks awesome "imo" 8-) , also they have a lower purchase price being a Quartz movement & will be super accurate time keepers .

I figure whats the big concern with having to replace its battery every 3 to 5 yrs , when one must service a mechanical watch every 3 to 5 yrs also .

Are current owners of the SBBN015 , happy with their Quartz Tuna ?

As am curious what ppls thoughts are on them , possible future hoot "who knows" :?:

Thats one tough looking watch , very nice . Have you had any dislikes with it so far ? Is it made in Japan ?

I have the 015 for about two years already. It's a nice solid tuna that ticks a lot of boxes for me :

- black insert with awesome finish (better than normal Seiko divers)

- bright green lume just like a tuna should have

- solid linked bracelet with MM styled clasp. In fact it's the only tuna that comes with bracelet

- good quartz movt



Minus points :

- Allen key type of screws which have been known to strip easily :o . Seiko should have stayed with the Phillips screws.



The SBBN015 is a very good tuna and well worth the admission into the tuna world ;)
