Perpetual Calendar Adjustment

Seiko perpetual quartz watches - eg "Sportura" , adjusting the perpetual calendar isnt easy :o

I spent approx 40 minutes yesterday attempting to get it correct , after when i thought i got all the values right , i wake up this morning to see i went over by 24hrs & got friday instead of thursday :oops: having leap yrs +1 etc to adjust , i taken it to the Seiko service centre .

The Seiko watchmaker technician , sorted it out fo me quickly & advised now its set & forget . Thats until i need to have the battery replaced & the Seiko service centre will reset the perpetual calendar once again . My question? - is there a easy laymans terms way , to show step by step way to adjust perpetual Seiko quartz watches :?: thanks in advance :)

For 2013 the leap year +1 , is the setting . I know understand how to do the adjustments more than i did before , but its still tricky . :?
