Re: Seiko Box without booklet/manual
"mel2406"
Hi everyone, I just purchased a Seiko watch for my boyfriend, model SSB073 (Barcelona collection) from a shop called Gift of Time at Bencoolen. However, I realized that the greyish brown Seiko box doesn't contain any Seiko booklet or instruction manual. There's only a 1 year warranty card. Is this normal? Is the shop's stuff even legit? Please help cos I'm getting super paranoid now!
Thanks in advance.
SEIKOs from the Gift of TIME are mostly parallel imported sets. They might have forgotten to put in the manuals or, they don't have it at all. Just call back to check with them. As long as you have a warranty card from them, dated, another thing happens in the future, they'll hv to honor the after sales post servicing.
As for whether the shop is legit or not... the shop has been around for quite some time even before they open the shop @ Bencoolen to what i know. In the past, they only do online trades, like CreationWatches, without shop front. The store @ Bencoolen is just a small establishment. The ORIS store @ Plaza Sing is their biggest shop to the public.
