Seiko Box without booklet/manual

Seiko Box without booklet/manual
Hi everyone, I just purchased a Seiko watch for my boyfriend, model SSB073 (Barcelona collection) from a shop called Gift of Time at Bencoolen. However, I realized that the greyish brown Seiko box doesn't contain any Seiko booklet or instruction manual. There's only a 1 year warranty card. Is this normal? Is the shop's stuff even legit? Please help cos I'm getting super paranoid now!

Thanks in advance.

Move your post.

Do you have a warranty card and is it chopped ? Try calling the shop and ask ?
Re: Seiko Box without booklet/manual
The only card in the box is the shop's warranty with the chop, none of that signature blue from Seiko. No certificate of guarantee or instruction manual. Could it be a grey market? I googled that only authorized dealers can issue the blue Seiko warranty.
Re: Seiko Box without booklet/manual
imo, the blue booklet is not impt as the warranty card.

most likely it's a grey market set but I believe the shop will offer its own in-house warranty for a certain period of time.

SEIKOs from the Gift of TIME are mostly parallel imported sets. They might have forgotten to put in the manuals or, they don't have it at all. Just call back to check with them. As long as you have a warranty card from them, dated, another thing happens in the future, they'll hv to honor the after sales post servicing.

As for whether the shop is legit or not... the shop has been around for quite some time even before they open the shop @ Bencoolen to what i know. In the past, they only do online trades, like CreationWatches, without shop front. The store @ Bencoolen is just a small establishment. The ORIS store @ Plaza Sing is their biggest shop to the public.
