1st post - newly found poison!

Hi all,



This will be my 1st post in this forum - hopefully will be long and fun journey :D



To be frank - I am not a watch person - I find that wearing some iron on my wrist to be heavy ;) Never understand why one would spend 10K on a Roc - apart from the resale value the watch holds.



Nevertheless, last Xmas my wife give me a Seiko Premier Kinetic - SNP039P1

Thus this coming V - day I decided to get her a Seiko in return - so I gotten her a seiko Sportura.



However, during the course of selecting a woman Seiko, I loot another Seiko for myself - The in-famous SKX781K1.

Just fallen in love with the movement and the design - I spend the last few night reading about Seiko watches on this forum.



Before I posted this virgin posting - I just ordered a blue sumo from Higuchi - hopefully that's a trustworthy source.

A 7S26 OM(Orange Monster), one of an iconic models. There's a 4R36 Monster now, why did you go for the original 7S instead?



A blue Sumo, nice. One of my favourite 6R,haha



Do not worry, Higuchi, SeiyaJapan & ChinoWatch. These are the big 3 reputable sellers online for JDM seikos

Sincerely dont know much about Seiko watch when I decided to get that OM - dont even know that there a newer model :P



Actually think I was kana chop from the shop I purchased my OM from - found out the actual price after reading the post here.



Think better don't post it the price here - or else need to dig a hole. (enough to buy 1.5 OM)....sighhhhhh

Haha... Going to VIVO tomorrow w family hopefully can sneak away to molest one mm300. Hopefully the seiko store got one ;)
