I am new here and would like to check which is best place to find a wide range of seikos and at good prices?

It,s easier if you narrow down the model you want.Not every shop has every model. Imo visit k2 1st if don,t have want you want then go elsewhere. K2 price is very reasonable and his service is top notch. I don,t mean just customer service, even his watchmaking skills afre top notch so no worries if you watch needs any looking at.

If you don,t mind buyg online, i recommend rakuten for some rare jap models you may not get here.

IMO visit Bencoolen and peoples park first if you dont have any idea what to get as they have most and all the recent release. Their prices(25%-30% disc most models) are a good match to 20% off elsewhere..



k2 has a small selection only. Unless you narrow down to the particular model and k2 has it,then you can go down take a look.

Which particular automatic model are you looking at? Seiko has a very huge range of autos. You can try acube at peninsular as well. But his prices are not that competitive IMHO.

i thought A-Cube still offers standard 40% for all seiko but payment in cash terms only?

Bought a fff from him last year. Price was not as good as ah goh's.

That's what he claims. But the one I bought was a "J" set. I thought all thong sia pieces are "K" models?

No harm going to see but Acube. But since relocating really has issues with stock & CS(over promise -under deliver) imho. Price wise, I think really still depends on which model. But normally can be competitive.

mustafa is having some minor renovation near the non warranty section



not many watches there & the display is quite messy now



maybe you should wait after the reno is completed

This model has been out of stock at Skywatches for quite long already, good that u found it at Mustafa. But why buy 2, for modding?

There were still quite a few when I went back to get one for wife. At least 8 pieces but were all gone within a week, I think.

Generally most models warranty by ThongSia are Ks, parallels are Js, and comes with in-house warranties honored by the sellers themselves, some not, like Mustafa and HANIFFA TEXTILES. There're some high demand, popular models such as the SKX007, 009, 011 may have J makes with ThongSia warranties, which i believe due to short supplies of the Ks. The SEIKO PRESAGE rage of watches with sapphire glass are Js in Mustafa with ThongSia warranties, available too, elsewhere.

Besides the white dial, kidney red bezel, there're other 2 variants that i have seen, a blue dial, blue bezel, and all gold,black bezel variant elsewhere.

For a snzh53? I don't think this model is so popular that Ts has no stock of the k model. Just my take?



I bought my snzh53j1 from them at 220. He claimed that it is under Ta warranty.

@ the price of 220, with TS warranty, it's a good catch. Especially when it's a Not Often Seen model. But i would suggest that you check out the TS warranty documents that comes along with your piece, whether is it clearly stated as "J1" on the card. Mustafa staff sometime may get things mixed up easily...

Alamak Bro, I got the snzh53j1 from acube. The white dial with burgundy bezel is not a snzh53 it's a different model totally. The white dial I got from mustafa ng section.



This is the snzh53j1:



The watch on top (unmodded) is the j model.



The white one I got from mustafa is the anzf25j1.

The one you bought from acube last yr for 220 is stock or modded?

The pic u posted above is both FFF? I prefer the 2nd one, i assume thats modded? :D

The one from cube : stock. Yes the other is modded.



If stock, yes it's still available everywhere. For the modded just get the dial online.

Went to the boutique at vivocity twice and found out price is a few thousand more than the ones in SeiyaJapan.com saw the ananta series and the price is more favorable but still off my budget. Guess will look at Rakuten or SeiyaJapan instead... Thanks for replying.

For Rakuten, I did try to place an order for an skx007k on rubber; watch cost 162 sgd, but final bill came to around 194 sgd because of taxes/shipping/insurance. Not bad really, but I didn't pull the trigger. They will send you a confirmation email before you have to pay via paypal for your item, so looks perfectly safe to me, but caveat emptor as always.
