Re: seiko night monsters
The Night Monsters will cost you at least $450, if not more.... buying from 10keiya, you're gonna have to use a re-shipper, not cheap, not to mention GST :(
Re: seiko night monsters
this line of Monsters are nice, I was also tempted at these when it was released but after a while, the 'poison' slowly died away  if you wana view the actual watch before purchasing it online, go down to Sim Lim Square, look for this shop: Superchrono(i tink it's located on level 2 iirc), this shop have a few Night Monsters, selling for $1k+sgd :|
go there see see look look can liao, lol

Re: seiko night monsters
I just picked up a Pure Night Monster for a good deal, but even then I'm paying like 400+ with taxes, conversion etc... Worth it for some, not for others. But, getting a normal BM and customizing it will likely cost just as much, and possibly not as good a finish. Guess we'll see
Re: seiko night monsters
They've got a promo where they take 15% of any item on Rakuten. Ofc, you pay a 'usage fee' (5%) of their system, local consumption tax of 5% (which you don't if directly shipped), and then overseas shipping.
Think it'll just jump over S$400 with s&h, by ~S$10. We'll see if it gets hit by GST or not....

So just got the SZEN002, and confirmed no Kanji on day wheel. :( Instead there's... German? What? :? :?:

Nah, the Night Monster's are not Limited Edition's (unlike all those Thai ones... let's not go there ). Night Monsters were just made in lesser quantities than the regular Monsters likely because they were only offered in Japan, and coz the price of the PVD & the JPY strength (or just Seiko's drive for higher profit) increases the cost so significantly. Also, the fact that it was only produced for 3 years or so doesn't help....
