there was a year when it rained non stop for 3 days consecutively.

I remember one memorable training exercise,stuck in storm (no shade nor trees nor shelter) while everyone was in prone position awaiting the 'enemy forces'(senior coy) 101% drenched till eyes veri irritated,all equipment fully soaked. Everyone was trembling hard under the biggy rain that lasted like 6hrs or more... even the groundsheet is useless... those were the days
