Hi folks,



Merry Xmas and happy new year to all of you! May health and wealth be with all of you for forthcoming 2013 :mrgreen:



Seeking opinion of the 2012 Orient M-Force from fellow bros here who happen to own one? I have been eyeing it for a while but procrastinating the itch till 2013 :lol:



Is this a good piece of Orient to own for the mid-range?

I don't have it and haven't seen it in the metal yet but online pics look awesome especially with the reserve meter. I tend to compare it with the Sumo which I think looks high quality, simple and nice.

I already own a Sumo and thinking of adding the EL06 to my daily beater gang.

It is a great watch in its own right.. Some have complained about folded end links but don't have a problem with them..

I wanted to buy one too, but have not been fortunate enough to find one with the Bezel aligned to the indices at either taka or Win's. Folded end-links do not bother me, but misalignment does.



Otherwise the winding is nice and smooth and it's quite entertaining to watch the power reserve meter go up.

Interesting.. bezel aligned on mine.. my one is the JDM model, but wouldn't have thought there would be a difference..

As mentioned, if misalignment/dial moving slightly on certain pieces doesn't bother you it's ok. Guess its a must have if you like big muscular watches. Looks good on isofranes. Nicknamed the beast because of the look & def worthy to be a beater. :D

My apologies.. I thought you were referring to the Orient EL03, the model before the one you were asking about..

Ehhhh I thought all EL06001 are JDM or aka made in Japan? Am I missing something?



Any other known flaw with it?

I suspect they are all made in Japan, but the JDM models have a different model number, thus my making a mistake about which model you were asking about..
