Don't belittle the Internet forums....

I watched this whole episode unwind.. I gotta say, manufacturers and vendors alike, especially if you are operating almost solely online, don't belittle the Internet forums....

A small customer issue like this can spiral into a big PR issue with other implications, well only if you are pure online shop... ;)
Re: Don't belittle the Internet forums....
Friday poison, looks good even on the close up pics even it's a defect :)

On a serious note, they really ought to look into the cs they are providing. Irregardless of how much is the item sold, such a reply from them is totally irresponsible.

Time to sell my Jenny!
Re: Don't belittle the Internet forums....
Well, the very reason why he posted in the Dive forums is because the sponsored forums have a very strict no "nonsense" moderation team, an example: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f34/still-havent-got-jenny-782779.html" false;

After I posted that, the moderator got in touch with me on the 9th of Dec...

Dear Sir, please send me your name, and order information to check the status of your order, why didnt you contact DOXA earlier about not receiving any type of confirmation

thank you

doxa forum admin

I replied on the same day with the payment details..

Hi,

I send my payment on the 23rd of Nov, I dropped a mail on 3rd Dec seeking an acknowledgement, but I did not get any response yet.

Then eventually I got a reply from Doxa on the 11th Dec.

Dear Sir, we confirm receiving your order for the Jenny Caribbean

black/yellow

Kind regards

customer service

DOXA watches Inc.

Seriously... their response is slow. I drop a mail to Halios, he responded within the same day !
Re: Don't belittle the Internet forums....
i don't like it too, if my emails were never replied to..oh, sometimes they do reply...but in 2-3 days later.

I understand they might have tonnes of emails but at least try to reply back within 24hrs.

Anyway, I dun have these communication issues when I purchased from microbrand companies
Re: Don't belittle the Internet forums....
From the way the issue panned out it's easy to draw conclusion whether you want to support the brand or not. But seriously hor, I hate those company that "马后炮" (simply translated means 'belated action') when something goes wrong, as clearing demonstrated in this case.
Re: Don't belittle the Internet forums....
rather funny read...replies from those direct parties involved but replies from "CALEFARE" wannabes. lol

DOXA is a highly regarded brand(least for me the vintage series) so I feel they ought to stay abov and beyond the standards of nice reliable Swiss dive watch brand. And Customer service is so impt for a start.

But we all know,as long as you arent involved in such 'misfortunte'.. supporters will still support and haters will still hate..
Re: Don't belittle the Internet forums....
jin lousy customer service

Actually regardless busy or not, those micro-brands are almost single man show.. Doxa have a customer service dept ! Anyway, let's see how it unfolds...

I know I'm late in ordering, I'm not penalising them on late delivery but rather late email replies and the way the moderators handle issues.
Re: Don't belittle the Internet forums....
Looks like the Doxa admin has posted and he seems quite pissed. And I thought admins should and ought to be neutral and objective.
