My first Orient Star

My first Orient Star
Hi

I've bought my first Orient watch today. I went to the Big Time to check out the Bambino and Seiko SARB series watches but ended up buying this beautiful cream dial watch. It's love at first sight!

Here are some quick and dirty pics.

Orient is well known for their mechanical watches. Accuracy is very good, sometime better than the SARB series.

I bought mine about a year ago. Like the classic look.

Re: My first Orient Star
Oh i see, the damage is $698, I believe it's not a good price but I'm okay with it :)
Re: My first Orient Star
$700 not so bad lah bro

OS is an exclusive watch, not much the population

the most important is you happy with it,

wear with pride, cheers
Re: My first Orient Star
Totally agree with bro tankbustaz.

As long as you are happy with it, don't worry about the price.

Mine was around $650. Got it from Higuchi.

Wear it in good health.

Very nice indeed bro. Is the model DX0002W?

New OS skeleton model. If I am not wrong, the PR is 50 hours. Only the Royal Orient has 50 hr PR.

Re: My first Orient Star
Thanks bros tankbusta & zidaneong
Re: My first Orient Star
I was at Mustafa early this morning and spotted 2 "exact" Orient models of my Orient Star.

There are 2 sizes, I'm guessing 38 and 40mm. Only blue dials (the colour is quite dull). Only $225, for those who are interested.....
Re: My first Orient Star
very nice OS! I gotten the blue version of this - while the windup feels a bit rougher than my seiko, but the feel of the whole watch is very solid. I do prefer the bracelet of the SARB series though.

Thanks, I like the oldie look.
Re: My first Orient Star
I just went to Taka today and saw the Orient Star lineup while looking for a dress watch. I was aiming for a Bambino but the Orient Star lineup made me reconsider what I wanted again.
