Buy/Sell Guidelines 2013-04-21
All registered members are allowed to view the market place only, only a closed group (by request only) will be able to post in the market place.
The group will be restricted to members that are typically:
- with us for at least half a year and actively contribute to the forum like posting on a regular basis
- have good forum conduct
- at least 100 post counts (genuine posts, not posts clocking count or bumps in the old market place)
The above conditions must be met and ranked in priority.
We will reject requests from:
- newly joined members
- low activity members
- members with warnings issued
- sellers who just post in market place
Please PM the Forum Admin "scadmin" to request for access, but before you request, please ask yourself if you meet the above criteria.
Invited members are allowed to post their personal pre-owned watches or watch accessories for sale.
The Market Place is strictly for non-commercial entities.
As all sales forum, here are the house rules:
- Do state your topic and post clearly (A well written sales post with photos is for your own benefit only)
- WTB: Want to buy
- WTS: Want to sell
- FSOT: For sale or trade
- FT: For trade
- Topics should be in this manner for easy reading, examples:
- "WTB: XXX Watch, $XXX
- "WTS: XXX Watch, $XXX
- "FSOT: XXX Watch, $XXX
- "FT: XXX Watch, $XXX
- All posts must include sales information like asking price and description, photos are optional.
- Do not include any information that is not related to the sale.
- No fakes or replicas allowed.
- Editing and deleting of posts is not allowed to maintain full accountability.
- All communication should go through the PM system.
- Only replies to your own sale thread to add details or bump is allowed, members should be refrain from posting their comments or remarks in other's sales threads.
- One bump per day only.
- All good and bad feedbacks goes into the feedback forum: http://forums.seikoclubsg.com/viewforum.php?f=9"#FF0000">[color=#FF0000]or withdrawn[/color], you can lock your own thread.
Other notes:
Sales threads that are locked or older than 5 months will be archived. If an item wasn't sold in 5 months and it's moved to the archives, if it's still for sale, you can start a new sales thread.
It's recommended to have a single sales thread if you have multiple items for sale.
Violators will have their market place access removed.
