Me is still on the hunt for the best authentic taste wanton mee :(



i dun like those that's being sold in food courts, using black sauce type, i ish rooking for those early 80s 'authentic' taste



so i ish welly picky when comes to jiak wanton mee.



so far, the stalls that gets at least 70points from me ish



Army market food centre

Blk 52, Telok Blangah Close

Haig Road food centre

Come to Melaka la. Many 1-ton mee stalls for you to try...easily more than 10 in total...

You try 1-by-1 then you can rate which stall gives you that 80's taste.... :lol: :lol:

Bro..when you goin there? I will be back on 24 - 26 June :P :P

A farmosa is an icon so its a must to visit if you have not been there b4. Best time to take pigture will be early morning or evening time.

Best will be early morning (6am - 8am) coz less crowd. Nite time is also good because of the lighting around the area.

Just my 2cents.... :lol: :lol:

For firstimer...you sld go at least once lor....of course compare to all the buildings in SG...Afarmosa kenot compare la...but it has its own history and character....so depense on what you are looking for....

speaking of jalan besar, the kopitiams along jalan besar, opp the food centre, the wontan mee is oso notch bad(oso 70points) ;)

I'm not a big fan of wanton mee but I used to frequent Park Lane WTM, until they shift to Sun Shine Plaza, now so so niah.



For noodles, I prefer ba chow mee, BCM, so far I tried the High Street Tai Wah, not bad, a lot of "liao". Other than that, a lot of BCM taste the same to me, although there are some damn lousy ones. LOL

probably not much help but there's this new stall near my place in jurong, mee very q, wanton quite generous with one whole prawn in it. $3 jiak until very full. comes with 3 steam wanton and 2 fried ones. yumz.

Only open at night till 3-4am n oddly sat night close.

Can asked for 2 flavour, chilli n black sauce.together.

The stall along the same row as mimosa hotel is nice. opens till late night. aso house a carrot cake in the same old shop house.

The best Wanton Mee i ever eaten is at KL. Authentic Canton style, and hand made noodle.

It's a must try for Wanton Mee lovers but i must say it's quite expensive though (~RM7/plate).
