Re: There shall be no more seiko for me !!!
thanks again people.
just to share, my path to seikolightenment was quite coincidental.
my very 1st seiko was the 7009A - square seiko 5 automatic. bought it during my studies days.
then after many many years, till recent times,
my wife bought me the SRP 025 - a pilot-like watch with blue hand & markers for my birthday.
then i chanced upon SRP 043, aka spork/sinn on-line. fell in love with the watch & gotten jennifer to hunt it down for me.
this seiko-maddness could no longer be stopped, esp after i acquired the member of SSC..
soon after, I got my 1st oldie seiko from one of the kind members here - lordmatic, 5606-7100.
then all the chronometers fall in place.. new/ old/ quartz/ automatic :
SNDA 15, aka seiko daytona (yellow),
SNA 655 - looks weird, so i bought it,
6139-8020 (blue + brown) - retro looking pieces,
6139-7002 - by chance bought it from sgroc,
6139-6010 - very very nice blue dial, believed to be the 1st automatic chrono made.
and the divers :
6309-7040 - love the cushioning case,
SKX 009J - a must-have 'the usual' seiko diver!
:) :) :)
