Okay... i know it's just the end of October and too early to talk about closing shop... but some of our brudders here are already locking up their closet or safe for good, looning until 2013.

This shall be a thread for all who made their last purchase of the year... no matter what makes SWISS, JAPS, CHINESE, or INDIANs(TITAN or HMT), all are welcome!



Initially i thought that the 4 Seiko Solar Chrono will be the last of the year. Well... just received a PM from Germany, that something special had been reserved for me!

These two should be my last hoot of 2012, unless I can't resist temptation again. Just arrived from FedEx this morning, now waiting for the GST bill to come. :( Caught the "S" bug......first seiko, now steinhart.

No wor... I disagree ley... Your's is the current best in it's themeed category. Simple design, clean, neat, the classiest in the FLIEGER category! Makes the owner looks like the one of the pilot flying the Airbus A38 :mrgreen: to others wor!



Mine currently have no competition from it's own category from Steinhart yet... but certainly not the best looking in the Racing Themed class if compete with others in the market. Only when...



...arrives, then we'll see which is better looking in the Steinhart camp.

Initially i want to hoot that Steinhart LGE #55(yeah... same like my LSE), then push the shipment/delivery date to december one... but H.Solo of WUS beats me to it! :cry: :cry:

When the news was released last thursday, mid nite... i also received a PM from the Gran Prix project person saying that there's a lot vacant and ask me if i'm interested. So... without further consideration, i ask him to put me into that vacancy lor... that's why it took me to waste that whole friday to consider if i want to get the LGE or not...

The result? LGE totally sold out on Tuesday... now i have to drool over LGT's hoot pics and upcoming piece from brudder Rouge-Hog liaoz........ :twisted: :twisted:

Now kenna poison by the sale girl. Tried on....look damn nice on my fat wrist. :lol:







I kinda leaned toward the silver.



Can someone please tell me these are ugly watches or buay kum me so i wont be thinking for the next 2 mth till jan 2013 cos i told myself to close shop liao. :lol:

Very Classic, will be very ugly on other ppl's wrist if it doesn't land on yours! You collection will definitely look ugly without the additional decoration of this classic piece!!! It will look ugly to others if you didn't hoot this!!! Becos it look damn ugly for others that you have lost your taste if you choose to miss this!!! It'll look ugly to the sales girl if you don't patronise from her, you're one stingy...

Enuff of the uglies. Let us look at the beauty.

Well... if you like unconventional case design... for example if you're turning direction from round shaped case to slightly oval... hmm... go Mustafa centre and feel this "eggy" RADO.

lately i saw my rich friend spend a few $k on a rado quartz watch with diamond :o ..sibeh piang and gu niang..i kept teasing him. got $$$ dunno how to spend. :lol: Anyway he happy can liao.

If RADO neber appeared in your Radar, the means MIDO and TITONI will also be not...since they're in the same league of "elites" in the late 80s. During that time we're mostlt influenced by those popular brands that are popular with the hongkongers during that period, mostly CJ or GL and most likely the Longines.



RADO design had been very dull, with the horse shoe casing design that from the early 80s last all the way till mid 90s. Then RADO design goes more modern and sleek with their ceramic range, from late 90s till today... too soft to my taste. Until i saw the release of this RADO Chrono, whoa! This is more manly!

yesterday one of my colleague come and approach me on RADO watch, said that he like the Ceramic range very much. I was like, "WTF???" on my face. He arm is so fit and large, yet he falls for a small case sized and Ceramic watch... wah lau ey... very the "grey"...

Bohbian lo... opened the Ashford page, let him see the ceramic watches there and take his pick lor...



If you go Mustafa and take a look, their whole RADO counter is like 80% all Ceramic!!! Yet still can sell some more!!!



huh???



BTW... for your info, the RADO chrono is priced @ $3.7k approx @ Mustafa. No idea any other competitor around to give better discount boh...

Back to topic, the Hamilton case shape and dial are nice but somehow the buttons don't gel IMHO. ;)

So far only know that there are 4. 2 dual tones, 2 with just SS case and bracelet.





The SS case and bracelet comes with blue dial and the Grey one which i just confirm only available @ Mustafa Sayed Alwi wing, priced @ 3700 with change. As shown below...





The dual tone one comes with either gold plated case+gold plated bracelet with black ceramic link, or polished SS case+polished bracelet+black ceramic link. Which both i have not seen available anywhere.

By right, I'm supposed to close shop for the year. Just a week ago, I received a message from the Steinhart GP coordinator asking if I'm still interested in the limited edition watch. I had messaged him a few weeks ago regarding my interest, never expect the fast response as Bro Ed waited half a year for it. I took delivery this morning and it should be my last hoot for the year. Thanks bro Ed for the PM. :)
