small cheap hoot in JUNE!
was having a hard time initially, considering the riki watanabe AAAA101 and the seiko spirit SARB031. looking for a minimalistic watch. was swayed into the SARB first, then later to the riki, then due to the size of the SARB, finally locked down on the AAAA101.





even the box also so eco friendly!





before i get to the watch, there's this japanese note from the designer, mr riki watanabe. anyone understand jap can translate?





the face





swaped out the original strap immediately with ah goh's thick paros. the original strap seems to be stiff, but yet feels a little cheap and not so sturdy. highly recommended anyone who got this watch to swap out for something better thou.

Gxgx...:)me also use goh strap...but is a 20 mm

wah you notch or squeeze in?



i was looking at 20mm also, but i thought it may look too "heavy" for a small watch. looks like i'm wrong!

Squeeze in loh.dis 1 veri soft n squeeze in wont look ugly not fitting 1...:)

i think it's 38mm, but it wears bigger due to the slightly dome crystal, no bezel, and thick case

even the much smaller spirits are already 36mm, and this is confirm physically bigger... :D

Ok chk liaoz...according frm seiyajapan diameter is 36.8mm n thickness is 13.3mm...so shld not b wrong liaoz...:)

was interested in the quartz one initially, but was put of by 1) being quartz and 2) i think it'll be too small and thin for me.



but well, i love those rectangular tipped hands, just like how the blue/black sparks have
