Anyway, not getting much replies already. I'm moving this to Chit Chat...

Thanks for all the kind words and feedback. As CEO mentioned, we decided to take a stricter stance in enforcing the rules, rules will probably be refined to ensure order.

Another common rule in forums is no other languages except English is allowed.

haha kinda drifted from main BUMP topic.. but

aiya we just be flexible on this as long as its not wall of text/sentence after sentence in one language other than english since we are a multi cultural-language country... singlish also can lar. It does warm the forum with local flavor too..
Re: *BUMP*
phantom150 has outlined it very clearly... when in someone's house... even if it's an open house, we should respect the house rules. I do agree with the "free bump" rule... it does tend to make the tracking and searching for a sales thread very confusing and potentially messy, while serving no real value other than a "I-do-because-I-can" gesture. I've seen that happen on other forums very rampantly and it severely interferes with a clear presentation of who has what to sell or post.

We're all here to trade information and share our hobby; a civil mindset will go a long way to fostering a community. It IS the fundamental philosophy of a community/society that we forego some of our perceived personal "rights" for the greater good of the community, because what we will get in return will be greater than the perceived loss of "freedom".
Re: *BUMP*
We will be posting the proposed rules and guidelines soon, so we will take in whatever feedback we have here and others that have been accumulated over the past few months.

Leave the floor open for comments on the new proposed rules, then we will put the rules in place and re-launch Market Place, no fixed timelines but probably close to end of the month.
