Actually bros, no need to be pissed or angry.. Take it with a pinch of salt. No matter what every potential buyer means a chance of letting go your stuffs.



I will normally reply nicely that "sorry the price you quote is too low for my comfort" and that's it. Whether he upped his price next is secondary. But at least I want to remain gentlemen enough to open for everyone. Well you won't know half way through the sales, share market drop and siao Liao... I will let go to even lowballers! :D :D

I have my fair share of low ballers, but in all honesty, I don't blame them, it really does boils down to willing seller, willing buyer. Alas in life, you can't win all the time. Just ride with the flow I guess. If u feel that its too low, you always have the choice to reject, no point cursing and swearing the other party, in the end, your whole damn day is spoilt by such specimen. :p

Not worth it. There are worst kind definitely; low-ball pilots.

Now that really takes the cake. Just my 2cents worth

Yes, lowball pilots are the worst. First they die die want you to meet him at his preferred location and time. Then, he low balls you or suggests nonsensical trade and top up, etc. during meet up. Then, after talking $&@" for half an hour, he said need to rush to attend to something and will keep in touch again. Then, no sound no picture after this. :(

As a Seller, I also hate LB, but sometime I really need some money that finally sell it to a LB. maybe it happen quite a lot like this, which create a lot of LBs. just my 2 cent

I have one experience to share. Posted a citizen quartz for sale, responds not good so was slower than usual to sell.



I normally ok cos I'm not in a hurry, then there was a message from a potential buyer, ask about 17 questions. Usual la, best price etc.



After entertaining this bugger for 1/2hr I knew most impt was the price but he keep harping its a quartz and totally not worth over 100 and he lb like 3 times below asking.



I would want the bro if got chance go find out quartz watches not cheap hor.

Meet all sorts of buyer and this one is the worst. I just laugh it off and ignore Liao

I have to use the technique I learnt when I was selling my Welder K23 recently.



The guy told me a long list of flaws that he found based on my pictures and then finally, offered me BEST best best best offer of $100.



Anyway, I sold to the guy who offered deal at my selling price.

i kanna something like this too... tried selling my camera on clubsnap a couple of years back. the first PM i got had 5 "bad" reviews of the camera and the person immediately offered me 50% of my price. take note the camera was only a week old and i didnt even get a chance to use it yet. didnt bother replying him, and that night he blasted me with more PMs. :lol: :lol:

I think it is buyer's and seller's choice to conclude the deal. Don't rant after the deal is done and regretted. Then start tarnished the particular buyer or seller behind their back. Not a very nice move.

I guess most of us have our fair share of experiences, once you know the "pattern", you can smell them a mile away be it, low ballers with a story or flip traders or whatever you call them.



I quote Lex, "Willing buyer, willing seller", don't feel like it, don't buy, don't feel like it, don't sell.



If you are in a hurry to sell and your price keep dropping, it's just an open invitation to low ballers as they know you are in a hurry to sell and you are willing or you have to drop the price to sell, so wording your sales post is important .



Anyway, our community is pretty small, there's a lot of under table deals going around, you guys know who you are ;) The reason is simple, we trust each other in pricing an item and we know we are buying from or selling to a sincere collector.



End of the day, it's all about integrity, once a deal goes bad, reputation goes around like wild fire, regardless who's right or wrong, so if you want to keep a clean sheet, just don't do unto others what you don't want others do unto you.

Hope no one takes this the wrong way, when we sell, we always want highest price and when we buy, the opposite right? anyone here make $ from a good buy? I am sure a few but most of us fall into the majority of don't make profit only make loss when selling. if sold at lower price and didn't make the profit and that buyer made because I sold too low, ok lor, wa gong, yi kiang. Next time learn lesson. After all we are in this not for investment but enjoyment & hunting whilst able and hopefully make a friend(or a few friends), tio bo? :P



Most importantly, if you don't have a good feel or find the person Bo Ho (so to speak) better don't buy or sell from them. Just IMHO. Tell sun earth moon story still the same person. Don't make a deal regardless how sad/real the story. And hopefully we can enjoy this journey together in watch appreciation! :D
