No ley... this huan not onion crown ley... ish Diamond Crown, and if i'm not wrong your case is 47? That's why you have problem with your long sleeve lah...

Actually not a problem la. I always tug my watches partially under the sleeve.

do the steinhart pilot watches come with onion crowns? I thought the 44mm's come in the standard ribbed crwon while the 47mm's come with the onion crown. well, pardon my ignorance but I was thought onion crown and diamond crown are one and the same reference. but in hind sight, the chronoswiss crowns look more like diamonds.

Actually your that crown, tapered in one is the diamond crown which is frequently mentioned in WUS.

As for onion crown... that's my own description lah... dunno what it really called in real life... because the crown is tad bit rounder mah...



You might want to consider adding the Apollon3 hander or Chrono to your Steinhart Family... i just had some fun changing the bezels!

i went to see the apollon chrono the other day. the pics on the net had me drooling for someime and gnomon finally has stock now. but in real life, wehn i tried it on, it didnt really speak to me. so opted for the aviation vintage instead. i was told by my regular watch salesman that this is also referred to as the onion crown. same as the one on the iwc big pilot. but it's a matter of perspective lah i guess.
