I've never own any auto chrono before and that kinda sets me a target for my next watch to accquire... so after much readup through the various posts and recommendations from our fellow SC bros, ive shortlisted 2 models, namely the Steinhart chrono Nav B-Chrono II stainless steel and the UHR-275..



I was hesitating between these 2 models when I consulted a fellow learned bro for advices, whom enlightened that if im interested to get the UHR, I shld FHFL before its price is revised up...



With that encouragement, plus the feasibility of obtaining dress/smart-casual theme thru changing straps to match its white-dial look, its VFM status, and its a ETA/Valjoux 7750, I've pulled the trigger! Shipment took abt a week from the date I ordered and WOW.. I'm really impressed with its quality!



I shall now let my pics do the toking and do pardon my poor pics and descriptions...



A nice 42.5mm size with a simple and sterile dial (without sec sub-dial at 9 O-clock); dial is more of cream then silver/white color; only the hands r lumed and not the indexes; nice pushers with knod for winding cum setting..





Close-up of dial showing the layered sub-dial (with circular pattern); bevel date window; raised indexes with matching chrome with hands..





Nice and uniformly brushed casing; polished bezel and back case, matched with polished knod and pushers..





Display caseback revealing its lightly decorated workhorse with marked rotor..

black sailcloth shld works well, sort of a sportier feel



alternatively, u can get this kind of tan leather from K2 to suit a more formal feel

I switched out the original strap and kept it in the box :mrgreen:

Yup yup.. I've let it ran for abt 8-10hrs i think (base on the 6 O-clock subdial), I suppose it's suffice rite?

As it was my first auto chrono, I was worried when the hr subdial hand starts to move (ie, misalign) during the test!! :lol:

20mm bracelet sure have one... The only challenge is choosing a pairing design to pair the simple and low-profiled casing.

7750 case is thicker so its not easy to find a suitable strap too, u have to find straps with thick end, dats why i bought that particular Paros strap, only this strap has thicker ends so it minimises the height difference btwn the case and strap end.

7750 case is thicker so its not easy to find a suitable strap too, u have to find straps with thick end, dats why i bought that particular Paros strap, only this strap has thicker ends so it minimises the height difference btwn the case and strap end.

Had gotten the strap yest frm Dr Goh... But haven changed yet coz wana season my original strap first..

As wat bro Ed.Yeo shared, there's no other variants for this model.. U may wanna chk out the avail models frm the link I shared wif u previously.. ;) must take adv of the gd exchange rate wor.. :mrgreen:

bro, just measured.. its abt 79mm & 120mm, excl the buckle.. forgotten to add, it tapers from 20mm - 18mm at the buckle end..

i think it doesn't go so well with contrasting stitch straps



the 'focus' becomes the strap's stitch than the watch itself



use a simple croc strap with black stitch lor :mrgreen:

With that HIRSCH, the white thread seems to be too thick, hence it becomes very loud. If you want to put this, my best suggestion is that you wear it with your Jeans outfit... like jeans material jacket, and jeans pants with white stitch as well, such that from far it gives you a Western Outback look.



As for the K2 Paros... really executively formal and smart. Any lighter, will hard to match with your shirts.

Thks guys.. U r spot on abt the loud white threads on the Hirsch strap.. Guess its really not v suitable, although the strap thickness really compliment the case v well..
