Thks man, i still prefer old models
Re: [SIC]A Fruitful (Sep) Month Indeed.
a good weather to laze around & post AAR of my Sep fruits ;)

Was recently out of seiko action for many months but was on microbrand frenzy mood until this month, most of my 'want to have' models appeared within the same time frame hence by hook or by crook, I had to obtained them this time

Group pic

out of these models, 2 are lemon, as in lemon dial

Skx257 limited Edition King's Watch(Atlas model)

I was in BKK during 07 & happened to see this watch in their dept mall but at that point, I thought this was another 'yearly' released LE models from Seiko so never really thought of hooting it. IIRC, price is not cheap back then. So 5 yrs passed, I was at another forum when someone posted an interest check for this watch.

Sent him a PM immediately, I knew I will surely be the one getting this model since that forum people are not really into watches(LOL). Seller told me watch is with his uncle, in Thailand. Waited 2-3 weeks for his uncle to come here & pass it to him. Very nice packaging & nice big box too. Watch is a real looker too. Original bracelet still in super mint condition with stickers still intact but dark navy blue leather is well used. I believe his uncle worn the watch in the original stok leather strap & kept the bracelet. Well, I'm fine with it

SKXA35(Malaysia)

Hmm, had been interested in this model for a while but never really wanted to get it when I see it FS on forums.

After getting the LE skz 257, this skxa35 pops out almost at the same time, I thought it was a good time to get this model. I remembered sinner had a piece & the yellow dial is a nice bright yellow. The yellow hue is slightly different from SKZ 257. Skz 257 yellow is a bit more 'creamy' yellow but the difference is subtle.

Watch condition is ok, crystal was scratches up so I had it replaced to a new original crystal from K2. Looked better now

Next move is to mod the hands...or should I retain the original hands? Hmmmm

Seiko Sportura SPC003

Another piece which I've always wanted from the Sportura series. When you keep looking at a partciular model, you know 'that is the watch' to have. This model does not pops out FS often, the last I saw was a couple of months ago, on bracelet but I was short of funds back then hence passed it.

ebay has this model but I am not willing to pay so much for a preowned piece ;)

So when I saw this model FS, I whacked it & 7-8 days later, it's on my wrist

Superb dial layout, a very nice watch to take photos, especially the dial. Superb details & I adore the 40min chrono counter retrograde subdial.

Seiko Artura SNL001P1

Initially this model looked ugly to me but surprisingly, it grows on me as time passed. KIVed this model in my wishlist & suddenly it sparked me to really go hunt for 1 after I saw it on my friend's wrist. I really love the aerodynamic structure of this watch although it's on integrated bracelet, it wraps around the wrist as if it's customised especially for your wrist  Worst of all, the blue hands on the cool white dial, OK, I REALLY HAVE TO HUNT FOR 1 OF THIS! LOL

This is one of the few models which receives compliments, from non WIS people, when I wore it the last 2 days.

For those who are looking for a unconventional model, I receommend you to try this Arctura series

Seiko mil 7N42 SGD449P1

Saw this, hoot it. Simple. lol

Mustafa used to have a lot of this models but it's all snapped up. A nice watch as a beater but it sits in my box for now, my CO actually likes this watch very much so in a way, it 'belonged' to her now

Got it preowned, full box/papers but condition is still pretty new. The previous seller, I believed ordered it from Japan for the warranty card was stamped in Japanese lanuguage

Last but not least,

SKX007K

Everyone seemed to own it but not me.

I kept recommending/introducing this model to people to are looking for their first Seiko diver & I dun even have one myself

So when I saw this posted up by 'I am Singapor lang', i reserved it from him.

Skipped the Hammy Khaki as it's not under Jap category

I usually spread out my hoots over the 12 months. I never hoot like crazy in the span of one month. Maybe I don't get huge bonuses like some of you here. Lol.
