Thanks. The sweeping motion of the second hand is something that you cannot get in current quartz watches.I'm not sure if there is any current quartz or electronic watches that has a sweeping second hand? I will be interested to know. The only downside is battery change, cause it drains faster than normal ones.

i'm not expert, but i think Bulova Precisionist is the only other quartz with sweeping hand.... i dont recall of any other ones.

This is relatively low maintenance. Change battery when dead and probably rubber seals every once in a while. At least K2 got it running 2 years after battery died. As a precaution, I have another exact piece on standby, and another NOS movement. :lol:
