I almost always buy the orange dial of a dive watch if such an option exists. Then I'll buy the black one.

@Benleong84, wow you bother to email Mustafa on a Seiko Monster. This must be one of the most commonly and consistently available seiko diver after the skx. Why not just pop down to Bencoolen and buy one from 3D, WIn's or May May? They do not mark-up these common models and you should be able to get 30% discount at least. Mustafa you get to pick-up export sets without warranty.



And yeah, I'd give Petrolnut's website a try too. Prices are fair. ;)

I'm not very savvy where watches are concerned. just picking up :)

someone did approach me with a preposition for sale of his OM. it is enticing, but I'm still taking my time to look around, just for a feel.



I'm also heading to HKG in OCT for a holiday, wonder if I'm able to pick up a watch there.

Thongsia HK wasn't very helpful when providing me options, no stock of OM there until late november.



So i'm pretty much clueless here. what should i do?

    a must have for any seiko diver collection :twisted:



    or u can move onto the skx007 (black), skx009 (pepsi bezel) or skx011 (orange with gold accents)... all entry level seiko divers and same 7s26 movt as the monster.



    or get a jdm sumo sbdc001 (black), sbdc003 (blue) or sbdc005 (orange)!

    Poisonous, but I feel that the Lume is too distracting. Takes the attention away from the yellow face. I like bright lume, but this one seems a little too much. And I try to stay away from seiko 5s. Just personal preferences. Limits my purchasing options too, and in turn saves my wallet from burning a hole.
