Singapore Standard Time?

Singapore Standard Time?
Thinking of using a reference time to set my watches to test their accuracy. But a check on the net plus teletext showed at east 3 different reference time. :D

When I do feel like having a feel of the accuracy of my watches, I'll bring a good quartz out with the watch tio be tested. I know it is not as accurate as referencing against a cesium clock, but it sure is convenient!



Great reason to buy a good quartz if you don't already have one :grin::grin::grin:

Which is quite true, now and then everyone needs a good old trusty Quartz watch.

Just grab and go :)

hmmm usually i will just google gmt time and try to set the time according to tat... haha, in future i will have another means of checking accuracy le.. ;)

I'm using Emerald Time apps for my iPhone, and ClockSyne for my Samsung Note as my reference time. Both are free apps ;-)

I prefer http://www.time.gov" false;, it's US based, so need to adjust for daylight savings if needed, but otherwise accurate to their atomic clock I'd imagine...

Of course, but a good one runs very little over a few days. To gauge deviation, as opposed to obtaining the time, I'd think that a good quartz is convenient.



Sort of a watch that receives atomic signals directly, I doubt any internet time sites are absolutely consistent or accurate. our access passes thru land lines, microwave rebro, and Sat, all of which will introduce marginal errors.



That's why on balance, I just use a good quartz..... :mrgreen:
