What i meant is....not worth paying a higher price for a zenith daytona than a newer version...that is my own view nia....afterall, unless is paul newman manual winding daytonas then different set of value liao...

The zenith movements used in Daytona are running 28,800 bph, no diff from Rolex inhouse. I'd rather go for Rolex inhouse.

Personally a classic piece with the pre 2000 models running with zenith movements and the hour & minute hands longer and thinner (which is more classic when put side by side but otherwise not as noticeable when separate). Depends on what one likes and black is a more sporty piece and look compared to the white which is typically more classic.

Def used to be more collectible in the last few years (at least in $$ terms) and has dropped some. Not as long a wait list these days for new pieces. An iconic chrono piece IMHO.
