Poljot International Nights of st petersburg special edition

Poljot International Nights of st petersburg special edition
Hi Guys,

just went to this watch shop in krasnaya at Ion Orchard and saw this poljot international nights of st petersburg special edition (gold plated). The movement was also gold plated and it looks somewhat like a unitas.. Sales guy told me its a russian movement and i did some research online and found out it might be a chinese movement

Any forumers here know what version this is and wat movement they are using? There seem to various 'special editions' of nights of st petersburg? Thanks!
Re: Poljot International Nights of st petersburg special edi
P.I NSP runs on a russian Molnija movement.

roo7 will be the person to explain better here.

Re: Poljot International Nights of st petersburg special edi
the one i saw looks like this (but gold plated)

Re: Poljot International Nights of st petersburg special edi
That's chinese..

The Russian movement is Molnija 3603, used to have this piece...

If it looks like a Unitas, it's chinese.

The chinese movt is a Hangzhou 9011 movement based on the Unitas 6497.
Re: Poljot International Nights of st petersburg special edi
so its authentic ah....

you guys think its worth it? its around 1.5 before discount on a chinese movement. is the 9011 reliable?
Re: Poljot International Nights of st petersburg special edi
Imo, i think its a bit overpriced.

I picked mine up from ebay for under S$430, preowned but good condition, with molnija movt.

Cannot comment much on the new movt, have not handle one before ;)
