Did you drop it recently ? Or leave it near a strong magnet source ?

Most probably it needs a servicing and regulation.

Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
A regulating frm goh can solve ur problem
Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
Thanks all~

I dun recall it went thru any trauma. Only discover it when I try to leave my office and everyone was asking if I took time off...lol

Jus hope nothing serious. Thanks again!
Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
Did you leave it (as a habit) near some powered up electronics? like computer and esp radio?

if so it might need to be demagnetised... else it be a check n service..

keep us updated =)
Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
Hmm... I do leave it near my hp only.. But only recently got this issue.

Think I better put my other watches elsewhere.

Paranoid liao.

Wun be expensive to service and regulate rite?
Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
for a seiko 7sxx movement,it wouldnt be too expensive(heed advice from other bros on which repairman to visit loh)

best is to store watches away from powered up electronics..

but i dont forsee this irregular +/-30mins happening on most seiko watches....

8-)
Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
I also didn't expect seiko monster to run off in <3 years~

(really dun remember banging it somewhere)

will bring it to K2 and see wat Mr Goh says den~
Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
prob kena magnetized
Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
Left my BM alone for a couple of weeks due to reservist.

I charged it back up to register how much it gains before going down to Mr Goh.

But the watch now runs normal~

I think it really seems to be magnetized like most the bros here say~

shall monitor for another day to see if its really de-magnetized :D
Re: [Help~] Black monster running too fast
