if you believe rolex, 5 years. But I have two anecdotes pointing either way. (1) I have a rolex that I bought new in 1997, it is still accurate now. (2) I bought a new one for my wife in 2001, it literally stopped moving right after the warranty is over.

Other than my 6694 (which is modified and hence not accepted by RSC), I go back to RSC. The servicing costs have really risen though. I used to pay S$230 for the complete overhaul of a datejust.



I'd suggest for aftermarket workshops, at least patronise ex-Rolex tech like Top Hour at lucky plaza. No point being penny-wise pound-foolish. Proper servicing protects your investment and ensures reliability for years.
