Obscure vintage brands

There was a time when I was hooked on vintage divers, mainly from obscure small brands. It was the period where no one over here know what Sinn was, and there was no modern Doxa, just vintages.



It was during this period that I bought this watch, a Royce Marine Professional.







This is a massive watch with 22mm swivel lugs, and crown located at 12. Size wise, this measures probably around 45mm.







This was rumoured to have been used by the french navy but very little information can be found. To my knowledge, another small vintage brand, Lejour, share the same design. Laco also came up with a modern homage of this case design in recent years.

Thats what u wanted to type on my reply As well. The swivel lugs are marvelous design n there are some modern watch that makes them currently I believe.



This vintage orange piece is sweet!

actually I have been looking for this orange royce with 12oclock crown after reading in dive forums and magazine last time but out of my reach due to pricing...its the same case type as the re-addition laco squad ninja and also somehow heritage link with the fame triton spirotecnique as one of the dive watch with 12 oclock crown.

Thanks for all the compliments. This is quite an eye catcher on the wrist, due to the alert orange colour dial and lume contrast. The dial colour is more intense than that of the seiko orange monster. :lol:

Nice dial color n a rare diver. I remember someone on Wus ever wanted to sell a big ufo saucer Royce diver for a cheap price n its Nos. However its in a past. To my surprise, u actually have a different Royce diver setup! Really cool n I Nvr expect that Laco had actually copied the same design of the past. Do wear in Gd health. I believe not many ppl ard has such Diver.

Swing lugs is really interesting... helps to wrap the watch around your wrist. The closest I have to is the first generation vostok amphibian...

ya royce's did the saucer diver back in old days.. probably with some smaller companies and Laco did the modern version.. dont think I can find this easily anywhere...
