I disagree on the WUS fella. 6159-7010 dial and hands really survive well ... they look good (but not like it's been refinished).

A bit funny that crazyhorse is asking PJ to verify A claim... He's knowledgeable of the watches, but a specific thing like this? Eh, not sure...



Anyway, both people's watches could be original; Seiko could have easily made two dial-versions of the watch, they've done it before. Only way to know would be to hear directly from someone who owned such a watch since 1975 April-July, or from Seiko / an employee directly (too bad Mr. Tokunaga's site is down...



In either case, why bicker over it, they should just enjoy what they have, I sure as heck would!

Reminds me of the Russians side of things where we have no documented proof, most stuff are based on statistics like this and other guesswork through large collectors.

aiyo....as wat I see.... whats the 'agenda' of the davidhu fella... he may be just curious,wanting to get into a discussion,showing his 7010s collection or.....? whatever non m or m version,these tunas though not really rare but still desirable tunas with GS standard movt. who doesnt love the 6159 tuna... happy can riao....(as long all original )
