my humble daily wear...Phra Somdej Maruek Khataiyaawan Wat Hua Hin 2467 by Luang Phor Nak...(tis no: 2467 hab gif me strike 4D before ''2nd prize'')
Luang Phor Nak, Wat Hua Hin, lived during the reign of King Rama 6. He was known to be a good and highly revered monk. Indeed he was so well respected that the King asked him personally to create a batch of amulets.
The chanting ceremony for the amulets took place at the Kings Palace and by royal decree was attended by all the guru monks of that period. The amulet mixture used was the same as Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang and as such can be used as an efficient but far less expensive substitute.
People often call these amulets "Somdej Marukhathaiyawan (Ma-ruk-Kha-thaya-wan)" because the chanting ceremony was held at Sea-side Royal palace by the same name.

hmm, interesting.my cck house have got like 6-7 amulets at my living room, last time my dad used to let me wear one but now i dun really wear so often, will post pics of those amulets if i go back cck ;)
one memorable/puzzling incident that left me pondering was, i wore one of this amulet to Thailand, my ICT trip. We had this un-guided Topo mission for 1 week, making our way from Point A to Point B those kind. At the 2nd last day, we walked past a small settlement/village, I was walking past an old couple when they stopped me in my track, pointed to my necklace, i was abit stunned(fugging shag with 30kg Alice pack, walking for 3 days,lol) why they pointed to my necklace, i did not hang the whole necklace out oso(??) so i pulled out my necklace from my lumber 4, showed them the amulet.
When they saw it, both prayed to it & pointed the 'good' thumbs up. After that i just smiled at them & moved on,lol
What puzzled me was, when I rch sillypore, i realised the glass/plastic surface was cracked! It was still in good condition when I wore it to Thailand worrrrrrr
hmmmmmmmmmm..
experts, wats the moral of the story huh :o
