[An Neh Ma Eh Sai?]- CHINESE "BALLs!" to fight the ANGMOs!
It's about time, for BALL to watch out for "BALLs" from CHINA!

Don't think this Tritium tech is very state of the art already, Vostok Europe launch 1 of their divers couple of years ago with the T tubes. Lumi-Nox as well.

There's another brand, Christine Alex or Alex Christine sometime has that too, sold locally also

Anyway, what's most important to note is, Tritium is a radio-active substance with a life-span of 12 years, 12 years later, there's no more lume ;) Probably the same applies to our Lumibrite ?

Bro I thought they always claimed that the lume can go up to 25 years?

Remembering from HS chemistry class... Radioactivity is basis half-life. So, supposedly, 1/2 the material would have released the energy/particle and reached an inert state. As you say, roo7, I think it's a half-life 12 years, so 12 years from now it'll be 1/2 as bright, 24 years will be 1/4 as bright, 36 years 1/8 as bright and so forth. It's just a question of when the luminosity of the material will be indistinguishable...

Of course, HS Chem was long, long time ago....
Re: [An Neh Ma Eh Sai?]- CHINESE "BALLs!" to fight the ANGMO
Ahh, a scientific explanation, so it's not really dying off immediately after 12 years, but half dead after 12 years, 1/4 dead after 24 years and so on..

So that's why they say the lume will last for 25 years.... I do wonder how long will seiko lumebrite will last.... :?:
