Volmax Poljot Ocean / Okeah Final Edition

Photos of my latest arrival, at least 2 of us here got it. Not sure how many pieces out of the 300 made it to Singapore...



The Poljot Ocean was issued to the Soviet Navy, back in 1976, when Poljot first manufactured the 3133 caliber, based on the Valjoux 7734. If you noticed OKEAH, it's actually "Океан", Ocean in cyrillic.



The Final Edition project was initiated by a Spanish forum, HDR, as the community came to know that Maktime, the current company that took over Poljot tooling, will most probably shut down, therefore there won't be any more new 3133 calibers produced.

With a simple but elegant presentation box.





Top of the case are brushed, while the rest are polished. the slightly oversized crown makes winding pleasing. The Poljot 3133 chronograph movement is a manual winding one, so you will really appreciate the bigger crown as compared to the original.









Various shots of the dial, it's really beautiful, quality finishing, dome crystal makes it pretty hard to ignore, my colleague noticed it immediately that I was wearing a different watch.

Yah, it's a good price... as compared to other volmax 3133... Vostok is too boring anyway. Haha..
