SBBN015 clasp polishing
hi guys,



though got my tuna with bracelet not too long ago, but compared to my other watches, the clasp on this tuna is pretty scratched up even though i took care not to desk dive a lot...



will using cape cod n polishing in one direction restore its condition?

after touching up



u might wana apply a coat of clear nail varnish over the clasp

if u want mirror finish - low grit sandpaper sand off deep scratches , then higher grit then higher grit til u reach about 1500 grit before you start using cape cod or autosol / brasso or whatever





brush finish.. just use 400-800 grit sandpaper one direction

You can also try less abrassive than sandpaper for brushed finish. best if not too deep

1. steel wool

2. green pad for washing plate

Polishing and removing scratches is in a way different.



Cape Cod cloth is meant for cleaning and polishing not removing scratches. Sand paper just go do any old school hardware shop. Rochor road has a few shops there.

You will end up with mirror finishing if you use cape cod. The original thing has brushed finishing.
