Timex... thoughts..opinions?

So what do u guys think of Timex? The name conjures up images of iron man-related watches/equipment to me, but recently i saw their Intelligent Quartz Fly-Back Chronograph range look pretty decent, especially the one below.







Looks like a good and cheaper alternative to the STEINHART Nav B-Chrono II black DLC :)







and with an army green nato or textile strap it can something look like this.. :lol:











I haven't seen any timex watches in any of the usual retailers as far as i can remember. Any idea where I can go to bio a timex?

Timex to me is another ironman kind of watch.



Now, the watches u shown r really nice.

the higher end variant of Timex is actually the TX Series

woah, the 4th one really looks delicious! yeah i read about the second hands thing but since i don't stare at it perpetually all the time should be fine, for an occasional "fun" watch, especially with an army nato. :)

Oh wells I guess for its price point can't ask for too much. Still value for money seeing all the functions packed into it. Think I will hunt for the first pic I posted. :)

apparently there is a dial misprint for the minute counter.

haha, yea that was a big mistake on Timex part though i can't understand how they can make such a simple one. Read that it was rectified and the next batch had the corrected sequence. Is Mustafa the only place for Timex? Tangs orchard used to have the counter but it's no longer there.

timex humvee big watch :mrgreen: 8-) will look good on a hulk!

went to try on the steinhart at gnomon ytd. it wears way smaller than what the size might suggest. :shock: looks underwhelmed on me, but very thick though. Didn't managed to see the timex anywhere, and the hunt continues..
