summary(deal not done so i didnt leave a negative in his itrader,he got his side of story but I stand by mine. Mods deleted all feedbacks on sellers/buyers in chitchat section,nw only can make official itrader feedbacks )
story goes: I help 'supposingly friend' to resell his watch that he got from a reputated watchmaker. ppl seen this watch before and deem no problem.I helped him to sell and was offered comission/kopi lui etc... but i insisted NO and not my style to gain money by helping a 'friend'... and sell the watch to best of my knowledge.
later met taxico and has discount given before meetup. Then he wanna check watch throughly. He was super indecisive and couldnt decide 100% of watch's movement even with his 'intense knowledge of rolex /tudor subs(he talk how much this and that subs he collected etc)...this watch I am selling is just a ETA 2824 nia ley... I told him on the spot' if you cant decide and not sure,then we dont deal as its for our good. I rather he buy it with confidence and ease. He got weird and was having a hard time thinking,want to buy or nt...while holding onto the watch in one hand,ai mai ai mai style.. seriously I rather he return watch to me..
He did a surprising move and took out his wallet and showed me his stack of cash...said he's very sincere else wouldnt draw money before meetup ..(I dont like this style,money is nt everything dude)At this meetup point A,he told me that he will consider if he can get it at even cheaper price,taking it as a risk to buy the doubtful watch. I told him 'I have to call seller if he wants it that way' . But first of all,he wanted to check out the movement. I dont have rolex/tudor caseback opener so got to borrow from a stall owner( CSC rolex stall).Then we walked over CSC.
* all along with ai mai ai mai attitude and also dont wanna give up a bargain deal. caseback opened up at CSC (chinasquare central);
taxico check watch's movt with a photo in his iphone,just because never match 100%,he said the watch I am selling has got a wrong parts(cseback,movt part,weird serial number) . (note,eta comes in all variants and made for decades,service center replacement/watchmaker replacement etc all makes a difference,not all is 100% to the dot,probably 99% ). I asked him how sure he is,how much he knew,any proof to say its not 100% original to this model,he couldnt answer me at all....only saying he based on his experience... blah blah blah...
*funny thing,as soon as caseback has been opened,he asked me this " so if buy,still got waterproof guarantee?

He then told me all his watches pressure tested with friend's dive shop...good for him
I asked him again 'so how,if u want I call my friend now to ask cheaper price for you. Note he didnt stop me but just kept his eyes glue to the watch's movement and ai mai ai mai style again.. (never saw such buyer one). I called my "friend" got fark(shouted) by him on the phone;
'why ask you help sell stuff so troublesome,discount again? if buyer want more discount ask him buy elsewhere....and he drop my call while I was talking halfway to him...I jin dulan with this 'friend' after which found out more things abt him that he did to me, we are friends NO MORE.
Discount asking aint successful and Taxico left CSC. His whole ai mai attitude made me sian big time,without credible proof but based on his experience,ask weird question,discount etc..... what made the matter worst was he deny asking for discount and mentioned in sgroc that I am the one who offer to call my friend for a discount.... (I must be siao to do that...) too bad the whole meetup conversation wasnt recorded else I be on winning side straightaway. All long the ai mai attitude,show money to express sincerity,use finger tips turn the watch's auto plate,ask waterproof question showed how unprofessional he is as a collector....
