Don't know if anyone discussed this before, but I am looking forward to these new releases that will replace the all time favorite seiko monsters.

I posted that picture some times back... till now yet to see the physical release in retailers showcase. Not even other countries.

The only new divers that came out recently, uses 4R37 movements. Released under the SSAxxx model numbers.

my guess is, it will be in the 350-400 range

It'll eventually be 4R36, the wind and hackable movement. Full autos 7Sxx movements had been stopped in producing in large quantities anymore.

As the models suggested, "SRP"XXX.

Those are 100m niah. Probably not diver. Can't recall if they are screwed down or not.

these are the newer 200m diver.. not the current released Seiko Superior with 4r37(with 24hr sub register,rated 100m)



the newest 200m diver are the 4R36 divers

those newer release ones(seiko superior 4r37) are diver style nia,100m with non screw in for both main crown and crown for inner rotating compass ring.

They are more land than diver since they have a compass bezel...

get the red tuna since it's a limited edition variant and might get rarer in the near future.

as for the monsters the old ones are plentiful and u can slowly decide whether the higher price is justifiable for the new monsters when they come out

I will prob get the new monsters because I sold my old Bm 2 yrs back for a Spork.

I tried the red baby tuna however I find the z22 strap too long because of the longer lugs. Needed to wear it at the 2nd last hole. Didn't really like it as the end of the strap is protruding too much.

Hmm, after looking at it again, the 311's full PVD, similar to the JDM Night Monsters, so I guess that's somewhat understandable. Still, wondering how thE new SS fare against the 7S variants.

Suggested paring straps for the new monsters from Ah Goh!
Since the original rubber strap is perforated, me and Goh also tried out in the pairing game using perforated PAROS strap as well...

Ed,Yeo are you the one talking to me? there's a guy there that was recommending watch strap to me, but i was in a hurry so no time to look longer.

Was looking for limited ed baby tuna la. maybe next month than get another.

got to hold myself.. here really kana poison! ahah..

only the full IP variant with salted egg yolk dial comes on bracelet



rest are on rubber



but iirc, i remember ah goh does sell the bracelets for those non-bracelet models separately :mrgreen:
