Srx003p1

Hi all,



I just got my seiko premier moon phase Srx003p1. love the look alot, but something has been bugging me.... it seems like the second hand does not tick accurate on the markers around the circumference of the dial at about the 5-20s mark. it is about half a sec off.



not sure if other SRX003p1 owners encountered the same problem or any experts can shed some light regarding this?? if it is normal then I dont have to waste my time going down to TS for nothing.

Its very normal for Seiko quartz/kinetic/watever ticks or even Swiss ETA-ESA... really have to depends what movement is begin used, lesser chance of if its a high end quartz(japan or swiss same).

ic.. thanks for the info. maybe i raised my hopes too high for it as i expected more value given its price. they probably should have done away with the markers as its quite and eyesore looking at it. :lol:

a lil bit of update: couldnt bear the sight of the misalignment and decided to send the watch to thong sia today. the people over there managed to fix it.. now its running fantastic! great service from the CS too!

yep, its a known issue for this calibre. have this watch in gold and has exactly the same issue. Mr Goh says it should be fixable, but advised to leave it alone if the movement is accurate.

if it bugs you, u might wanna consider bringing to TS. they fixed it for me FOC. didnt ask for warranty at all and took about 20 min. "unfortunately", i ended up buying another watch on the same day. the sna411 flightmaster and had it changed to the nylon seiko strap.

glad your problem is resolved. it will bug me greatly too if the hands do not hit the markers!
