hey guys



just only found out there was a seiko sg forum. nice to be here. have been a super long time lover of seikos, all the way back 22 years ago when i got my first seiko chrono for an 18th birthday, which i still have lol. its taken a while, but the collection has been slowly building up.

it's good to see GS slowly getting the recognition here locally.



one of my ex-colleague( I.D company) told me her client was also wearing a GS when they were discussing some stuffs back in the showroom :mrgreen:

GS is understated and not well appreciated by majority of the pple. Not forgetting, the amt of $ it commands can get a decent Swiss watch be it new or pre-owned. The stigma is there for most pple, that ultimately it is still a seiko.



I do have that barrier in me, but once u get to know the movement, the finer details, the work that put in to get GS out to market. I would say, perspective do change for some pple.



and yes, I don't think more pple will buy GS, but at least I hope they learn to appreciate.

If u r referring to sbgm021, yup. I love it too.



Although it is 39 but it doesn't feel 39 when it is on the wrist. I love the creamy dial and the contrast of the blue GMT hand.

even if i never knew about htis forum, this wont be my last seiko lol...

still have a couple more GS i would like to acquire. a high-beat. and a diver or maybe the ananta diver chrono if i can find one.

no. have some others. omega, rolex, sinn, stowa and casios - mainly froggies. in the middle of moving house tho so bunch of them are in storage... will take some pics when i get them back out.
