:evil: for those who think that K2 is so dam good i will say gd luck as i am very disapointed when i say i looking for jumbo he tell me he got a few even show it to me LAST YEAR so i say i want it and i even want to pay a deposit for it mr G say no la wait till it ready i call u and tell me not to rush him as he say only after CNY than it will be done or start repair the watch so today since i am somewhere nearby i walk up and ask he can tell me oh all sold i say what abt mine ? he reply i don't know u want or not that F?:><ING attitude .



I know alot of people here may not agree what i say but i am telling u is not my first time i got this from him .

No shop is perfect.



Although there's a lot of references to K2, ATC, Twinkle, BigTime and others here, we cannot take it for granted that they are flawless.



Drew, not saying you are taking for granted but in general when everybody say it's good, we set a certain expectation. I won't say he's the best watchmaker too, he has other flaws too.



Anyway I don't think you are the only one. There could be other incidents that happen but not shared.



Anyway all shops listed here are based on members recommendations and we don't endorse any shops here nor we accept advertisement, so we are not obliged to give a bias view :)

There has to be some kind of misunderstandings here.



1st thing 1st... Mr.GOH to my knowledge, does not accept deposits for any watch. Be it BNIB or in order or even pre-owned. He believe in equality to all his customers, even if the pre-owned piece are niche items. Pay in full, and you get your catch. If he hold it for someone who placed deposits for it, in some cases, disputes might have happened as sometime the fault might falls on the "buyers" as well as he himself, where he would always apologize first to the customers whom he had disappointed... as you can see, Mr.GOH is running a one man show, both on servicing other folks watches as well as selling. So... it will be common if he had left something out, due to his hectic handling of situations. As you had pointed out, the initial incident happens before CNY... this is... i'm sorry to say... the PEAK PERIOD where most folks are sending in their old piece for servicing and delivery before the season falls in!



So, far... to date... I had only made one purchase from Mr.GOH, which is the SEIKO 5 Worldtimer. And that was in the end of November. To date, no purchases were made from him, not even pre-owns. But almost every week, once i would go to his shop/workshop and TCSS... he never give me any F@CK FACE to date...

I had encountered this incident before last year for a vintage Duotime :mrgreen:



I came across this piece but it needed a bit of servicing so Goh told me dun rush to buy, wait till the watch is fully serviced, I can buy it the next time I go over.



A few months passed, I was there one day & happened to see the watch on the work table, thinking it had been serviced liao so I picked it up, guess what :mrgreen:



the movt is only 40% intact.



I asked him if he is currently undergoing serving for it, he said



'IYAAAAaaaa, I forgot, I thought you dun want liao so I took it as spare parts.' :mrgreen: :mrgreen:





Nahh, I wasn't angry when I heard it, he might really have a need for parts hence he used the watch.



End of the day, it's just a hobby, like they always said



The Fun Part Is The Wait



I dun receive any special treatment from him as well even you guys call me 'C E O' HAHAAAaaaaa...
