puck competitor or cousin?

I like both! If I can only choose one, I will go for Halios. The logo, indexes and double-dome has a very space-watch feel, and reminds me of battlestar galactica.

The Helson is awesome, but I already have many awesome watches that have similar aesthetics.

puck competitor or cousin?

Is this a new gauge ? Seems thinner.

The earlier versions sits too high as the thickness is overboard.

These couple of days, your pics are mostly the lume shot that draws my attention. Till now then i realized that your SottoMarino case is SS.

By the way, to fellow brudders here, just in case you're interested with the SottoMarino "Speed Dial" which had been on brudder Herz wrist this few days, i just saw @ Mustafa, this particular model, together with PVD cased Black dial/ Black strap, PVD cased White dial/White strap versions, are selling @ SGD200/pc(199 to be exact...)[/quote]

Re: puck competitor or cousin?

Notice the height difference..... the previous gauges is 19-20mm thick and they are monobloc !

The new one is 16, so probably lesser material..

Notice the 2000m one the crown is hidden in the case and need a little tool to screw and unscrew.... very troublesome de!

But somehow I liked this hidden screw idea.....

I guess the crown screwing into the case has better water resistance as compared to an external crown exposed outside.

Maybe..... but I have seen crown on the outside with 2000m rating watch.... :?:

Between 1000m and 2000m.... I will go for 1000m purely on more functional ease of use.
