Nice pickup, luna. I got the same, and it's definitely a good watch, solid and hefty. Only issue with it is the HEL's, which are complete rubbish. Too bad Orient didn't spend just a bit more to make those right... :|

I wanted to buy orange dial, once at bigtime taka, but the bezel doesn't align. So I went sims, but the ones there didn't align either. Then I went win's, and again theirs didn't align. Other than this little issue, I really liked this piece. Really cool to wind the watch and see the PR meter go up!

Yup, as Tony said, Hollow End Links (a.k.a. Folded End Links). Not bad in and of itself, but the ones on this M-Force are just plain bad, the rattle is just maddening. Even my Mako's HEL's are better than those on this M-Force, a watch that is essentialy 3x as expensive... Then again, it's one of my personal annoyances, perhaps not everyone puts the same value in the bracelet / end-links.



The watch is 23mm between the lugs, so trying to find an alternative is not going to be easy. The new 2012 M-Force is 24mm. Guess only option is to go with a 24 and either notch the edges or just squeeze it in...

Not sure I'm with this diver-for-a-driving-themed-watch concept.... They did the same with the last Subaru STi LE.



This older one one works better, except for numerals it's the same dial concept in a more appropriate watch:
