my driving instructor is wearing a pepsi bezel 7002



just nw on bus, saw a uncle(always see him if I happens to board same timing bus as him), initially he was wearing a yellow kinetic BFK, wah, today he was wearing a SQ 7548, the pepsi bezel insert ish faded to almost silver riao :o sho chio :o

Do you guys think people in Jap like to wear Seiko as their watch?

i think it all boils down to whether you like the watch or not, not where you're from.

Do you guys think people in Jap like to wear Seiko as their watch?

i don't think so... in fact if they can afford, the piece that they put on their wrist are mostly big names such as TAG, Rollie, and OhMyGa... or else, they would prefer designer brands such as GUESS, CK and BOSS etc. I seldom see them put on Seikos or Citizens on them. Not even a trace of Casio or Orients. That's why i've stopped wearing my Ocean One Green to workplace where there's a big number of jap staff in the company... after i got commented by one of them, "this fake rolex looks good..."

Last week i was in a site presentation with some MCST members & my paint applicators.



I noticed one of my applicator was wearing a very nice watch, he was sitting diagonally in front of me, altho the distance is nt near



i could tell wat seiko model is that & I was really surprised to see this model in the wild!



As this was my first time meeting him, I was paiseh to ask him about his watch.



I was wearing my roman index KS that day & i could sensed he's trying to see wat i was wearing :lol:



Well, today we had another meeting this morning, as I knew he will be there, i purposely wore mine out(those who are sharp will know wat I wore today) lol & I planned to offer to buy off him today, my plan!

Sadly, he was not wearing this model today but a chunky watch but I do not know wat model.



After the meeting, we had a site accessment around the condo & he came up to me, discussed abit of of adjustments to the propsal etc etc, as I was about to turn & leave, he suddenly asked me where I bought my watch from(hahaa! I knew he would asked me)



from there, I knew he is another watch collector, mainly Swiss collector,lol



He told me his wife bought this 7T59 chrono for him during the 90s, at The Arcade, for $900+ aft %!!! :o :o



kns, my hopes of buying off him was dashed,LOL



told me is a fugging good watch, still working perfectly aft all this years



ok la, very good feeling to be able to see this rare model here in sillypore, somemore from someone I know!



We had a short chat on watches & shortly left as he was about to regroup with his colleagues :mrgreen:

Am at grand hyatt washroom, a person was standing behind me, took a look thru the mirror reflection to see wats on that person's wrist. Goosebump...

not commonly seen locally....



I never have such luck spotting older watches other than probably a 6309 thats abt it...other are modern skx series or basic 7T chronos..
