Another killer tuna combo!

Another killer tuna combo!
This was what i wore on friday - wanted to post on friday but the workplace pc keep logging me out!!

Anyway here is the SBBN011 with a cool black pvd bracelet.

The bracelet is actually from the Black Ltd Edt Manta Ray. I bought the Manta Ray just for the bracelet!! LOL

Back then (2007) there was no WJean/Tung Choy etc to supply good quality aftermarket bracelets let alone PVD ones. So I had no choice but to be creative  .

I even had to modify the endpieces to fit the lugs of the tuna.

You can read how i did it here:

Have a good week ahead guys!
Re: Another killer tuna combo!

Badern, that's a fantastic bracelet! Is it the same one I got from you at the gathering?

I did have some problem with the endlinks, thanks for the link on modifying it :)

Sorry bro yours is an aftermarket bracelet from Wjean. It may not accept thick spring bars. Is that why you are having problems with it?

Have not tried it on any watch so have no idea it has any issues.

Sorry bro.

The SBBN 015 bracelet is an awesome bracelet!

It definitely look good with any tuna. It probably cost almost as much as the baby tuna! Lol!

Actually it does accept fat bars, which is why I bought it off you... my issue with the install is that the lug area of the sbbn011 curves in...
Re: Another killer tuna combo!

I see ... that means the endlinks of the bracelet might be slightly too wide. You can try to file down the end links so that it can fit the lugs of the 011?
Re: Another killer tuna combo!
The Manta does have a nice bracelet (tho the rubber strap is horrid), but does the quality line up with the SBBN? It definitely looks the part!

Wish they were easier to find, been looking for one tro go on my Blue, which I just can't wear on the stock strap.

I also gotta wonder what your Black Manta ended up on, some kinda NATO or something, perhaps. Not seem all that many strap opions for the Manta.

When i had the watch i think i used it on a Nato or Zulu strap - cant remember which :D

Try blue coloured or blue striped straps to bring out the blue dial on the blue manta.

A couple of good examples are seen below : ( the Omega is not mine btw)

Or even on a modded tuna!

Yeah, I have to do that. I clicked your link and realised your mod is for the opposite reason :) Haven't got down to filing though. Once done it will be a perfect bracelet for the 11.

Yup. That is the easy way to do it.

Or if the difference is very small, just use some hand files to (like in the good old 'Technical' class when we were in secondary school lol)
