Digging up this thread as I am looking for a pair of couple watch.



The shortlist criteria are:

Dress watches

Either square or rectangle dial without any jewels

Roman numerals preferred

Date function

Mechanical or Automatic



We found 2 pairs of Longines (Dolce Vita and Evidenza series) that we like but do not know if there is any shops which can give a good price.



Are there any other brands that I should check out? Is it worth it to go for Sovil et Titus?

That was what I thought too. Originally looking at Cartier's Tank.



It's a beauty but the price is also damn beautiful.



One thing Longines kind of won over is they have some ultra thin quartz which was the "wow" factor.

My personal ultimate couple's watch... 45GS & 1964GS

Both are vintage hi-beat 36000

(I'm still hunting for them)

Don't know if anyone has said this but you can get the Rolex Yatchmaster. It comes in mens, boys ans ladies sizes so take your pick. If canmot choose, buy all 3. Hehehe. :D
