Some of the answers are pretty funny. :D When asked, usual answer is 1 is never enough! I have an extremely understanding partner who only says, make sure you know where u put/keep them.
If your partner doesn't understand, try learning about their hobby/shopping too. Besides a hobby has no price tag to it. Value is usually intrinsic and sentimental, so $$$ is secondary(not saying that $$$ does not matter but it's really not as important in terms of the piece.) main thing is if you have to hide that's kinda sad cuz I wouldn't want my partner to hide things from me too. ;) well most ppl have something which interest them (well maybe a few don't but they are the exceptions), so I guess understanding is key from both sides.

For seiko, I m always upfront. I will just show her the moment I picked up a new one. She tot seiko cheap cheap. So is safe.
For others, unless she found it, else I won't tell. If Suay Suay, she found it, I just say I m selling off for a profit (i dun think is possible to sell for profit) The next thing, I will post online and show her the posting.
