WTS: Seiko Sportsman Calendar

Here is my Sportsman Calendar manual wind watch. Cosmetically, this is in fair condition, but considering this watch is over 50 years old, I think it holds its own. Very very charming watch, with a silver dial that seems to change colour, and lovely dauphine hands.

Pros

Dial is mainly clean, some staining at the perimeter, and a nick at about 9'oclock

Mechanically sound, just got serviced at K2 about 2 months ago, cost me about $40-50

Brand new strap

New acrylic

Nice winding action

K2 uncle says case back should be original (not always the case for a watch of this age)

Date function works (but note this is not quick set)

Very retro and somewhat loud "lo-beat" rate, nice!

Cons

Cosmetically fair, top ok still ok. From bottom, you can see some pitting at the lugs.

Not water resistant
