4R36 direct drop in replacement for 7s26?

Anyone knows if the 4R36 on the sardines is a direct drop in replacement for the 7s26 crown at 4 o'clock?

Yea, am worried about the case diameter.

Might have to shelf this plan awhile though, cant seem to find a Seiko 5 with 4R36 crown at 4 to use as a donor yet :|

If i'm not wrong. 7s26 is a little smaller than 7s36 in size.

Using the SNZH5x and SRP12x as example... SNZH5x "FATHOM" uses 7s36, while SRP12x World timer uses 4r36.

7s26 movement is found on the boy sized SNK80x FLIEGERs. So if i'm not wrong, 7s36 and 4r36 can be x-swappable, while 7s26 might appear to be a little smaller.



Should 4r36 fits the SNZH5x "FATHOM"s well... it will be a good news for those modders to look out for cheaper models with 4r36 to take out the movement for modding...



"FF" dial, bezel, case+look with hacking movement... isn't it perfect?

Not sure if its an optical illusion but from this picture I have a hunch it might not work out, the date/day wheel seems further out on the red sardine thn the orange monster.
