Only diff with cars, bike basically got no scrap value.
Need to pay a fee lo. shld not be more than 3 digit , to deregister the bike, to tow the bike to scrap.
On a low chance,some shop might buy n renew coe n sell the bike.
Chances are low for this bike though.

chin jiat lat, must pay to get it scrapped ar? So, kosong book value or whatever value lah. what if it somehow got stolen ?
bikes not like car, got demand in 3rd world countries....
unfortunately, our bikes are more expensive than theirs in the 1st place.
in fact , i seen my regular shop scrapped away working condition rxz, wave, phantom, simply bcos no storage space, and selling new bikes is a better option for them....

How about riding it to somewhere in Geylang area, park, leave the keys and walk away. Make a police report a few hours later....
or clean it up, remove the engine and use it as a clothes hanger or display in house living room? :mrgreen:

These I asked lta before when my aprilia125 came up for scrapping. I told them it was a discon model and I wanted to keep it for display only and as a piece of furniture in my living room, they said law said cannot. So chin tu lan and renewed its coe for another 10 yrs :lol: :lol: :lol: ...and of course it is now collecting dust just like all my watches :lol:
Donno can donate this phantom 150 to seiko club now for next year gathering lucky draw or not. Roo, ai mai ?

ya or whatever prize he sees fit :lol: Got to get rid of it quickly, as will be somewhere in hk, japan and singpore in the next 3 mths. So, if club wants, he can have it for free. Bike needs servicing, probably just need to charge the battery as it was left in my patio for weeks. Full tank. Ai mai ROO ? :)

If i push the bike into a bike shop and pay whatever fees , then i dont have to do anything else, they will do all the work of scrapping the bike ?

I tell you what..... drive to our neighbour and report stolen. ;)SC will love to take in your bike, however there's no place to store it too... lol.

actually i think you should get some value back. scrape a super4 long ago, rem i still get some value back. then again, think there is still a few years of coe. but it don make sense even for bikes whose coe expire. should still have some value? think should bring down to your bike shop and ask :D

u got back ur coe lo.....
if ya scrapping a accident bike n its a relatively new model bike chances are bike shop will pay u some money fpr the parts still able to salvage .
then again accident bikes usually belong to insurance company, if u do claim them,.....
rxz, wave, phantoms and many other models are scrap like nothing monthly
there was a time u see ubi shops throwing away aprilla extrema fairings n parts in the bins.
cos these parts can only be use on extrema. things like the milo can exhaust,exhaust valve, carb, calipers, get kept behind

U can try ur luck...Go lengkok bahru below void deck there is a small shop do motor esp phantom n u look 4 ah koon maybe he got a way out...:)
Yes scrap bike is must pay n no $$$ back unless u stil got coe...
Track bikes can b lay up but must hav coe...
Go malaysia report quite diff coz urs not rxz,dirt bike,sport bike or big cow so mat rempits c also buey wet...
My suggestion is since u so free u can DIY undress left the big bone(chassis) n eng than bring go scrapyard loh... :lol:

flat battery, lengkok bahru to far for this ah pek to push the bike there. yes, I like to take thing apart and see what is in there, just like my old projection tv, took out everything and left them by the rubbish bin and kalang guni guy was so happy to pick up the pieces, but cb chengwho said cannot anyhow take bike apart and leave parts by the bin. got bus or train to scrapyard or not :lol: :lol: :lol: Thank you guys for all the suggestion.
Will push bike to a near by bikeshop, cough up some cash and leave my ic there for 2~3 days .

Hope you're not getting a new bike, COE @ $2k now... then again, so much better than getting a car..... :|

Yea... If you're buying a Bike under $5k (Fino / Spark / Phantom / X1R etc.) new, have to wonder whether it's at all worth it. :|Then again, better than spending 60k on COE for a $20k car.... ;)

Heng ar, when I renewed aprilia's coe (2 yrs back?) , it was under 1K :D
