So...

Today, 20120507, marks the day the French president changed hand.

So as the x-rate of EURO to SGD drops to new low of 1.628SGD to 1EU, breaking 1.63 point.

And STEINHART had just made price change @ 0000hrs SG time to all their divers range of watches.

Sooner or later, all other brands, will jack up their price again! 3rd time in 12months!!!



Wah lan ehh... buying european makes getting more and moe siong liaoz... :( :cry: :( :cry: :(

Looking at the current situation of the EURO against SGD. With the protest situation in other European cities, as well as the GREEK election that's filled with uncertainties...

My guess for EURO this week might break the 1.61 mark... coming closer to 1.6.



Luckily my targeted catch is still not priced up yet... STEINHART APOLLON Chrono! I'm going to place order for you!

Most likely to be Greece the first on the chopping board... with the on going protest and their government parties in chaos abt debt clearing resolution.

Spain should be the second one if i'm not wrong.

Italy... Holland... Ireland... all these no big news yet.

Germany PM also tau tia...

agree with Ed.YEO. most likely greece will be forsaken, seeing tat their own government and pple are so screwed up, screwing the rest of euro up as well.. haiz...

This was my expectation earlier... obviously after the whole week closed... it rose back up by 2 cents.

Yeah yeah.... it does really breaks the 1.61 mark... but it didn't goes down further. What happened?

Saw the news report last nite... in addition of the dark cloud covering the Greek sky... the SPAIN side is coming out with bad news as well. And from the video clips showing the Europeans rushing in panic to draw out their savings from various banks and atms, is this the reason that caused the EURO going up north?

Physical currency x-change will more or less add some interest. It wont be the same as those x-rates that we see from various sites.

Lets see...

10 days passed... EURO goes back up above 1.6 mark again.

Personally, i don't have any forex trading experience. Even though lots of negative news regarding the GREECE and SPAIN's nation debt keep popping up throughout the past 10 days, the EURO still goes up bit by bit... In addition, there are talks of the change of hands of the FRENCH President who wants to implement other new policies to the subject of retirement age of the nation that may add more pressure to the EURO situation...?



My guess... Izzit because due to the traveling peak season? There're still alot of folks in the asian region never had any experience to travel to europe due to the high cost of airfares as well as general expenses. So this is the time to hit the road? Izzit a plausible assumption to think that the current rise of EURO is due to the sudden raise in snapping up EUROs in the asian region?



(I would like to go to Germany, but whenever the thought of minimum 4k over 5 day travel popped up in my mind...)

If some of you had been monitoring on the movement of EURO against SGD... you'll have witness in the pass couple of hours ago, EURO just plunged sharply from 1.585 to 1.565!
