My Seiko s-wave

Collected my Seiko s-wave over the weekend.



It's no longer in production since the 90s but I finally managed to get hold of a new old stock from HK after some years of searching.



This baby is from the year 1997. The case has polished and brushed finishes, the bracelet has solid end links and brushed finish, but due to it's age, there is some stain marks from the protective sticker which I think can be removed anyway.



Seiko 7S26 automatic movement

Hardlex crystal and a water resistance rating of 10 bar or 100m

but i do not really fancy the 'helmet' style case hence my fren did a case switch with me :mrgreen: so mine is the one on the bracelet on the right

regarding my vintage 6138 chronos, I guessed I was lucky enough to have started collecting these back 2-3 years back.



back then, the price was still quite ok on the wallet & K2 used to have a fair bit of these chronos.



I bought some from K2 but most of the bulk, it's either from other local collectors or from international forums.



Prices of these chronos are creeping up ;)



If you can find one within your budget & at least 95% original, go for it.



why I say 95% is because, right now, there are a lot of these chronos fitted with aftermarket(AM) parts. My threshold is up to only a AM bezel insert or hands for these chronos, not more than these 2 parts.



Best is to read up on these vintage chronos & compare 1st before buying :)

haha, the cream bezel is easy to pop it out from the case but the black one is stuck hence bopian, switch only the dial nia,lol
